This custom Pharaonics costume is very elegant and nearly new, worn
just two or three times. The floral beading is very detailed, with a
lot of layered sequin work in navy iris and silver, highlighted by
rhinestones, rhinestone chain, and spot fringe. The halter straps are
embellished with rhinestone chain. This one really "pops" under lights!
Costume measurements:
Custom-ordered for a 36D (sometimes 36C) friend, so the cups are
Pharaonics #5. Generally, #5 cups are just right for 32F, 34E, 36D, 38C
with no significant padding. Pad if you're smaller, enjoy the cleavage
if you're bigger.
Bra band measures 38".
Bra halter straps are 10", with at least extra two inches under the lining in each cup.
Skirt waistband (top hip) is 28" unstretched to 40" comfortably
stretched. Replace or snip the elastic in the casing for another one to
two inches of give.
Skirt full hip, measured four inches below the waistband, is 36"
unstretched to 42" comfortably stretched. A 43" or 44" hip could
squeeze in and still look fine, but no bigger because of the beadwork.
Skirt length is 40.5" measured hanging on a hanger. It would be easy to
shorten because there's about 3" of undecorated fabric between the
bottom of the sequin work and the bottom of the skirt.
Model measurements:
For reference, when these photos were taken the lovely model was 33"
underbust, 36" upper hip, 39" lower hip. She wears her lycra skirts at
about 37" long. The costume worked well on her as you can see, but it
was actually made for a dancer with a slightly fuller figure, about 2"
larger in all directions, so there's considerable leeway in the fit.
Love that lycra!
Set includes bra, skirt, veil, long sleeves that cover the shoulders
for a shrug effect, headband, and a hair ornament with a flower that
matches the one on the bra.
